Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Palace hotel in Bari, Italy, had its ups and downs. The rooms were incredibly spacious and there were no extra charges, which was a bonus. However, receiving deliveries at 4 am through the back alley was quite a disturbance.
The hotel offers quiet and comfortable rooms with some nice timber furniture, though a bit tiny for 3 people. The breakfast is good and time is not wasted here. The service is polite and great, with a range of amenities available such as dry cleaning, laundry, and airport shuttle. The location is superb, very close to Arco Basso and within walking distance of the cathedral, the castle, and plenty of restaurants. Facilities are decent with Swiss cheese available.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms, while looking old and smelling a bit musty, provided a good experience. The service, especially from Sonia and the breakfast staff, was outstanding. The location was convenient, with some quirks to consider. The dining was nice, but there were some improvements that could be made. Overall, a mixed experience.
